Golf Outing and Bar Meet & Greet, August 16th, 2024
Cost is $39.00 per person, and this includes 9 hole best ball golf, cart and snacks afterwards. At an extra cost bar food and beverages will be available through Cozy’s Pub
1. We will once again be having a golf outing on Friday August 16th at Como Park Golf course. As always, each team will consist of four players, and be a BEST BALL FORMAT.
2. For those who do not golf, but would like to attend, we would like to include a cornhole /bags area for those who are seeking another activity to participate in.
3. We will continue to have an after party which will be held at the Como Park Clubhouse. This is open to anyone who wishes to attend, whether you golf or not.
4. Even though registration won’t begin for several more weeks, if you are contemplating golfing, please provide us your information as soon as possible. By providing us this information as early as possible, I can inform the golf course as to how many tee times our group will need. Please provide us your name (if you’re a single), or team name and members by using the comments box, or by email at [email protected]. If you’re a single golfer we will place you on a team.
5. MOST IMPORTANTLY, this golf outing is only for fun and is open to all skill levels, so please don’t let it stop you from signing up.
The winners from the last Ramsey class of 79 Reunion Open consisted of Jerry Dalnes, Kim Nelson Beecham, Mary Jean Sargent McGough and Ken Frigstad, and I’m positive that they are looking forward to defending their title. Good Luck to Everyone. Let’s have a lot of fun!
REUNION, August 17th 2024....
- The Reunion will be held at the Best Western Plus Event Center located at 1000 Gramsie Road, Shoreview, MN
- We have the Hamline Concordia hall reserved as well as a wonderful lobby where we will sign in and be able to mingle with friends
- We will be reserving a bank of rooms that will be available to those of you who will be coming from out of town, or just planning on staying over night. Although registration is still weeks away, if you intend to reserve a room, please contact us as soon as possible. That way we can know how many rooms will be needed, and keep the hotel apprised. There are other hotels nearby, in case you prefer another location to stay. I want to say thank you to Mary Nicklay Koppy for taking the lead on this important issue. - The venue also provides top-notch audiovisual equipment, ensuring that we can display our class photos and videos for everyone to enjoy. We ask that if you have any personal photographs of you or our fellow classmates, please email them to us so that we can add them to a slideshow presentation or display. - Cost of the reunion will remain the same as the 40th reunion at $35.00 per single and $70.00 per couple.
Located in Shoreview, MN, the North Metro Event Center is easily accessible and central for all of our classmates. Whether you are coming from near or far, we encourage you to save the date and mark your calendars for this unforgettable night. We cannot wait to see all of your familiar faces and create new memories together.
