Hey Rams,
As we look ahead—yes, even though it may still feel like the 50th Reunion is a few years away—it’s never too early to start planning for what promises to be an incredible milestone for the Alexander Ramsey Class of ’79. Excitement is already building, and we’re eager to keep the momentum going as we move forward together.
We do want to begin with an important update from the Reunion Committee. Mary Falkowski Conway has decided to resign from the committee. Mary has been an outstanding and dedicated member, contributing her time, energy, and creativity since the 30th Reunion and continuing well beyond the 45th. Her hard work and commitment have played a meaningful role in shaping many of our reunion experiences, and we sincerely thank her for everything she has done. At the same time, we are excited to welcome our newest committee member, Kris Mastel, and look forward to the ideas, energy, and support Kris brings to the group.
Looking ahead to upcoming activities, we’re also happy to share that a get-together is planned for June 6th at Gem Lake Golf Course, taking place prior to our Mini Golf outing. It should be a fun opportunity to reconnect, share some laughs, and enjoy time together as we continue building toward future events.
During our October 12, 2024 recap meeting, the Reunion Committee gave serious consideration to potential dates for our 50th Reunion weekend, with August 17–18, 2029 emerging as the leading option based on feedback received from our alumni survey. We also want to take a moment to reflect on the fun, energy, and incredible turnout at our 45th Class Reunion. It was a truly memorable celebration, and we are hopeful that even more members of the Class of ’79 will join us for what we expect to be our biggest and best reunion yet in 2029.
We’ll continue to keep everyone updated as more details are confirmed and plans develop.
