August Donations & Your Continued Support
As we wrap up the month of August, we want to take a moment to give a BIG THANK YOU to all of our Alexander Ramsey Class of 1979 alumni who took the time to make a donation this month! Every contribution, regardless of the amount, is sincerely appreciated and helps us continue building something special for our class. Thank you for stepping up and supporting your fellow Rams!
We also understand that August can be a challenging month for donations. Summer vacations, family activities, travel, unexpected expenses, busy schedules, and plenty of other obvious—and maybe not-so-obvious—reasons can all affect our ability to contribute. So, while donations were understandably a little on the low side this month, there is absolutely no judgment and no pressure. We simply hope that as we move into the coming months, things will pick up a bit and more of our classmates will consider supporting the Class of ’79 when they are able.
Your continued support is important because our goals extend far beyond simply maintaining a website. We want to keep the spirit of the Class of 1979 alive, preserve our memories, reconnect with classmates, locate those we have lost touch with, collect photographs and memorabilia, recognize classmates and reunion committee members, and continue creating opportunities for our Rams to get together. And, of course, we are looking ahead toward making our 50th Reunion in 2029 something truly unforgettable!
Every donation helps us move a little closer to those goals. It isn't about how much someone gives—it's about everyone doing what they can. When classmates participate and contribute, it sends a powerful message that the friendships, memories, experiences, and connections we made at Alexander Ramsey High School still mean something nearly five decades later.
Our Class of ’79 is made up of people who have taken many different paths since graduation. We have different lives, different priorities, and different circumstances. But we all share one thing that nobody can take away from us: we were Rams together! Supporting our class helps ensure that the story of the Class of 1979 continues to be remembered and celebrated for years to come.
So, once again, THANK YOU to everyone who donated during August, and thank you to everyone who has supported the Class of ’79 throughout the year. Your generosity, participation, encouragement, photographs, memories, ideas, and friendship all help keep our class connected.
