A gallant efford by Matt McElroy

Thank You, Class of ’79 Alumni!
A big, enthusiastic THANK YOU to all of our Ramsey Class of ’79 alumni who participated in our 2025 events! Your energy, laughter, stories, and Ram pride made every gathering special. Whether you helped organize, spread the word, showed up to reconnect, or simply cheered us on from afar — you helped make this past year one to remember. That’s what keeps our class spirit alive and thriving! 🐏🎉
At this time, we don’t have any activities planned for the month of February. However, as we all know, things can pop up! If something comes together later in the month, I’ll be sure to pass the information along through email and our Facebook page so no one misses out.
As always, we’re excited about the opportunity to plan future events and activities for the Ramsey Class of ’79. And remember — the best ideas often come from you! I truly value and encourage your participation in suggesting fun, creative, and meaningful activities. Together, we can keep building experiences that bring us closer and make our class community even stronger.

Congratulations to our own Kathy Stieper Vos who brought home a Blue ribbon at this years 2025 Minnesota State Fair chainsaw carving contest. Her carvings name is clover.

Clover can be seen in the North end of the Creative Arts building. So if you get out to the fair this year check it out and say hello too Clover.
From the class of 79, CONGRATULATIONS and great job Kathy

Big congratulations to our Class of ’79 golf ace, Al Czaia, who lit up the links at Tanners Brook Golf Club in Forest Lake on August 5th, 2025!
On the tricky Hole #14, Al stepped up to the Gold tee box, pulled out his trusty 7-hybrid, and sent it soaring 136 yards and straight into the cup for a HOLE-IN-ONE! ⛳
If that wasn’t impressive enough, he wrapped up his round with a solid 84. Well done, Al — clearly, some Rams just keep getting better with age!

Feed My Starving Children
A suggestion has been made to organize a group of Ramsey Alumni to volunteer together at Feed My Starving Children, a nonprofit organization that provides nutritious meals to children in need around the world.
We think this could be a meaningful way to reconnect while giving back—and we’d love to know if there’s any interest among our alumni community.
If you’d be interested in participating, please let us know by reaching out to us using the contact list at the bottom of the page.
Together, we can make a difference!
